Shopify, the Canada-based e-commerce giant, announced on Feb. 21, that it had joined the Libra Association.

According to a  blog post from Shopify, they will work collectively to help develop a payment network that makes money easier to access and helps merchants and consumers everywhere. Shopify doesn’t currently offer direct cryptocurrency support, but Shopify does allow its merchants to accept crypto via alternative payment methods through Coinbase Commerce, BitPay, GoCoin and CoinPayments Beta.
