According to Coindesk, Maple Finance, a DeFi debt protocol has completed a $1.3 million seed round funding, participated investors include Framework Ventures, FTX, Aave founder Stani Kulechov, Synthetix founder Kain Warwick.

Maple Finance aims to provide better lending terms to well-qualified institutional clients. A company with a good reputation can enjoy a fixed interest rate, the collateral amount can be as low as 40% of the loan value. Joe Flanagan, one of Maple’s co-founders adds: “With ours, it’s a set-it-and-forget-it solution. As long as you remain a paying borrower and meeting your obligations there will be no further calls on your collateral.”
