Sam Bankman-Fried, CEO of cryptocurrency exchange FTX, today revealed to CoinDesk that FTX has plans to launch a Coinbase pre-listing futures market. The company is discussing regulatory and compliance issues with the financial company CM-Equity. 

FTX is famous for its innovative products, such as the presidential election prediction market and the Airbnb pre-IPO market. As to the Coinbase futures market, SBF stated that the product “could be very soon” or it “could also never happen.”
