U.S. Congress is preparing to vote on a year-end $900 billion stimulus package to support households and businesses as the coronavirus carries on through the winter, as reported by The Wall Street Journal.

Under the deal, Congress is expected to approve another round of direct checks of $600 per adult and $600 per child, add $300 to weekly unemployment payments for 11 weeks and extend two other unemployment programs.

The $1.4 trillion bill has sent crypto Twitter ablaze with commenters believing that fiat inflation will drive traders to Bitcoin as a store of value investment.
