According to The Block Research Report, nearly $3.1 billion of venture capital invests in crypto or blockchain projects in 2020, of which 43% of funding is between $1 million and $5 million. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the venture capital funds in the first and second quarters fell by 61%, but the total amount in 2020 is no big different from 2019.

In 2020, Bakkt’s $300 million in Series B, Ripple’s $200 million in Series C, and Paxos’ $142 million in Series C are the three largest venture investments in the history of the crypto and blockchain field.
