Francis Suarez, the Mayor of Miami, today tweeted that he is exploring making Miami, the seventh-largest city in the United States, the seat of the country’s first crypto-centric municipal government.

Suarez supports the concept of tokenization and voting on the chain and hopes South Florida "will on the vanguard of legislation that promotes crypto and makes us forward-leaning on innovation". Suarez stated that he will get in touch with Caitlin Long, who is the former Wyoming Blockchain Task Force, to seek help and advice.
