In a notice filed by the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) on Monday, the regulator refused to approve BOX Exchange Inc's rule changes aimed at providing blockchain-based stock trading reporting. The proposal aims to allow National Market System (NMS) stocks to use BOX's blockchain trading venue, the Boston Securities Token Exchange (BSTX).
