Currently, 78% of Bitcoin supply is illiquid, according to a new report from the on-chain analysis platform Glassnode. The analysts divide Bitcoin's liquidity into three types: high liquidity, liquidity, and illiquidity. The results of the study show that illiquidity entities currently hold 14.5 million BTC (78% of the circulating Bitcoin supply), and only 4.2 million BTC (22%) are in liquidity. In addition, the report concluded that there is a clear relationship between Bitcoin's liquidity and its market. In 2020, more than 1 million BTC are illiquid, and the current bull market is driven by large amounts of illiquid Bitcoin.
