Ukraine government announced on Monday that it has signed an agreement with the Stellar Development Foundation to jointly build a "virtual assets ecosystem and national digital currency". The Central Bank of Ukraine has been discussing and studying the feasibility of the central bank digital currency (CBDC) plan since 2017, and the cooperation with Stellar will become the cornerstone of the future development of virtual finance.
