Bitcoin hit an all-time high with over $41,000 on Friday morning, Chamath Palihapitiya, billionaire investor, and CEO of Social Capital said in an interview with CNBC that Bitcoin may soar to $200,000 in five years. Palihapitiya explained that one of the reasons is that more and more investors find that its national leaders are not as trustworthy and reliable as before, he said: "The fabric of society is frayed and until we figure out how to make it better it's time to just have a little schmuck insurance on the side." In 2017, Palihapitiya predicted that Bitcoin may reach $1 million before 2037.
