Colette Kress, the graphics card giant Nvidia's chief financial officer delivered a speech at the 19th JP Morgan Technology/Auto Forum Annual Meeting, saying that mining card is not a big part of business currently, but the surge in demand from miners may provide a good opportunity to restart its CMP product line.

The resurgence of the mining card market has caused a large number of miners to sweep for Nvidia's RTX graphics cards, even the RTX 20 series and GTX 16 series. Recently, the second-hand price has risen.

As CMP is a series of Nvidia graphics cards created specifically for cryptocurrency mining, Kress added: "So, in summary, if crypto demand begins or if we see a meaningful amount, we can also use that opportunity to restart the CMP product line to address ongoing mining demand."
