Eight Sleep, a company specializing in developing and manufacturing smart mattresses, announced in a tweet on Thursday that if anyone refers a candidate they hire the company will pay that person $8,000 worth of Bitcoin.
Matteo Franceshetti, Founder and CEO of Eight Sleep, tweeted out that the $8,000 worth of Bitcoin reward will be paid out at the three month mark after the applicant is hired. Eight Sleep is a fully remote company, so applicants can live anywhere in the world. Franceshetti added that open positions including Senior Mobile Software Engineer and the Technical Product Manager.
Popular crypto commentator Anthony Pompeo took the opportunity to argue that the offering from Eight Sleep is a sign that the "Pay Me in Bitcoin" movement is catching on.
