Famous American rapper Soulja Boy announced in a tweet on Friday that he purchased BNB, DGB, TRX, KLV, ZPAE and FDO.
Soulja Boy ended his tweet asking members of Crypto Twitter what he should buy next, a request they were happy to answer. The replies section filled opinions. Many said he had invested in the wrong crypto assets, advising him to buy Bitcoin and Ethereum along with top 50 assets instead of going too far into altcoins.
The rap industry has long carried enthusiasm for crypto. Rapper Lil Yachty recently launched his own token and 50 Cent made headlines in 2018 when his 700 coin purchase grew to be worth over $7 million. Leading music magazine Pitchfork even wrote a piece about the rap industry's investments in crypto.
