Per the latest in lobbying disclosures, Coinbase spent $230,000 on government lobbying in 2020 for cryptocurrency-related policies. The figure is slightly higher than $200,000 in 2019.

In the first quarter of 2020, Coinbase paid $50,000 to the lobbying company Franklin Square Group, for each remaining quarter, $60,000 was paid. Records show that Coinbase's lobbying activities mainly focused on the House of Representatives and the Senate.
