Andy Weissman, the managing partner from Union Square Ventures (USV) stated in today’s blog that its seventh early-stage venture fund--the 2021 Core Fund--has "raised with commitments of $250 million."

USV's well-known investments in the crypto field include Coinbase, Polychain Capital, and Dapper Labs. Like before, USV expects a large portion of the investment (about 30%) will be cryptocurrency-related, including the direct holding of tokens or equity in early blockchain-related projects.
