Miami Mayor Francis Suarez announced that the city’s website will host Satoshi Nakamoto’s Bitcoin white paper in a recent tweet weeks after suggesting the city may add Bitcoin to its reserve treasury.
Miami is the first municipal government to host the white paper, Suarez said. He added that the city of Miami believes in Bitcoin and that he is working hard to turn Miami into a hub for crypto innovation.
Mayor Hillary Schieve of Reno, Nevada responded to the tweet asking Suarez when he would become a LINK Marine, a popular term to describe supporters of Chainlink's oracle network. She added that the two mayors should explore a city coin with other US mayors.
