In response to the news that Tesla purchased Bitcoin for $1.5 billion, Morgan Creek co-founder Anthony Pompliano tweeted: "the race is on to see what municipality is going to be the first to put Bitcoin on their balance sheet."

the Mayor of Miami, Francis Suarez, retweeted and wrote: "Working on a resolution for our commission for this Thursday’s meeting to get the ball rolling...Elon Musk’s announcement was very helpful...now all we need is for Amazon to adopt and then rocket."

Not sure if Miami citizens agree to this proposal, Suarez has said many times that he wants to make Miami a tech and crypto hub.
