Mastercard plans to provide merchants with select cryptocurrencies settlement services later this year, as reported by an official press.
Not sure which cryptocurrency will be supported, but this feature will enable its merchants to settle their customers' digital currency payments in cryptocurrency.
Mastercard has supported limited cryptocurrency transactions through its partners Wirex and Uphold, but this service only supports payment, not settlement, which means that currencies have been converted to fiat ones before sending to the merchant account.
