Alpha Innovations and Arcanum Capital, two asset management companies, today announced the establishment of a $10 million venture capital fund.

The fund aims to promote blockchain innovation in emerging markets by providing seed and Series A financing for decentralized finance (DeFi) and Web 3.0-based blockchain startups.

James McDowall, the founding partner of Arcanum, said that the fund will initially look for investment opportunities in the Indian market and may expand to other countries in the future.
