Ricardo Salinas Pliego, a Mexican billionaire has changed his personal Twitter profile to "Mexican businessman #Bitcoin".

Pliego is ranked 171st richest in the world by Forbes, according to Cryptoslate. And as of 2020, his net worth is approximately $13.2 billion. Grupo Elektra, a corporate empire built by Pliego, covers a series of businesses including Mexico’s largest television and media, retail, financial services, etc.

Pliego is also a crypto supporter, he revealed last November that 10% of his asset portfolio has been invested in Bitcoin.
