Microsoft co-founder Bill Gates today told CNBC: "I don't own Bitcoin, I'm not short Bitcoin. So I've taken a neutral view...But Bitcoin can go up or down just based on the mania or whatever the views are and I don't have a way of predicting how that will progress."

Gates once opposed Bitcoin in 2018, In the same interview with CNBC's financial program "Squawk Box", he said he will short Bitcoin because the crypto and ICO are crazy and speculative things.

Gate has shifted his perceptions of crypto, maybe one day Microsoft will accept Bitcoin as a corporate asset or a way of payment --hopefully.
