Canada's CI Financial Filed New Bitcoin ETF Application Following BTCC's Success

Purpose Bitcoin ETF (BTCC), the first Bitcoin ETF in North America has officially listed on the Toronto Stock Exchange in Canada, with a total trading volume of 9.3 million shares on the first day and a total trading volume of $145 million. 

Following the success case of BTCC, CI Financial, another Canadian investment company today filed for its new Bitcoin ETF, according to sedar.com.

If approved, the fund will be listed on the Toronto Stock Exchange (TSX). Mike Novogratz's Galaxy Digital will manage the ETF as subadvisor and charge a 1% annual management fee. 

Bitpush previously reported that CI's CI Galaxy Bitcoin Fund has been successfully listed, with an asset under management of approximately $172 million.
