Raghu Yarlagadda, CEO of FalconX, a digital asset trading platform invested by American Express, explained the reasons for the continuous influx of institutional investors into Bitcoin in the Decrypt Daily podcast.

The first is the well-known inflation hedge; the second is the hedge against geopolitical risks. Yarlagadda said that although this reason is rarely mentioned, FalconX’s ten recent institutional customers have cited it, that the China-US trade war will intensify, and whenever the US-China relationship deteriorates, from a price perspective, Bitcoin often performs well.

The third point is the "24/7 mechanism". Institutional clients appreciate that they "can trade Bitcoin at any time regardless of country or border."
