Cointelegraph Deutschland reported that two German Christian political parties are interested in using blockchain to increase efficiency of public services such as electronic health records, document protection, and registration. 

The Christian Democratic Union of Germany (CDU) and Christian Social Union in Bavaria (CSU) together created the CDU and CSU Union and are interested in creating a new type of company which could enable encrypted digital identification carried out by specialized notaries.
