Refik Anadol, Google’s former AiR (Artists in Residence) artist and well-known figure in the AI art world, announced in an interview with Decrypt that he will create NFTs for all his future artworks.
Refik Anadol uses artificial intelligence to create intricate and immersive environments, and his artworks have won many industry awards.
Last December, Anadol's NFT series "Machine Hallucinations" was sold at $30,000 on the crypto art market Nifty Gateway. The value of his sold NFTs has soared now, one of Anadol's sculptures risen nearly 150 times.
He told Decrypt: "From now on, since I trust the crypto art world, everything I do in the physical world will always have a corresponding piece in the crypto world. I thought that in this interview I wanted to declare this."
