Legia Warsaw, Poland, announced Monday that it will cooperate with Chiliz, a sports financial technology company, to launch the fan token $LEG on the fan and reward platform Socios.
The supply of $LEG fan tokens is capped at 5 million, and holders have the right to vote on various decisions of the club and are eligible to participate in exclusive games, competitions and VIP experiences.
Legia Warsaw joins more than twenty European football clubs to created fan tokens on the Socios platform. CEO of Legia Warsaw Dariusz Mioduski said: "We believe that the potential of the most popular sports brand in this part of Europe, which Legia Warsaw undoubtedly is, will allow Socios.com to gain many fans not only in Poland but also in the international arena."
