BTCC, the world's first Bitcoin ETF launched By Purpose Investments, has seen its AUM soars to $594 million, according to the data from the official website.
The BTCC began trading on the Toronto Stock Exchange last Thursday. Chief Investment Officer Greg Taylor told Yahoo Finance that BTCC has seen global capital inflows from retail and institutions.
"We are surprised to see a fair bit of demand from the institutions that are looking again for an efficient way to get exposure to Bitcoin and don't have means to do that in other areas," said Taylor.
