According to Israeli media Calcalist, three sources familiar with the situation revealed that PayPal is acquiring Curv, a cryptocurrency security and custody company, at a price of between $200 million and $500 million.

Curv, who raised $23 million last year to serve the demand of institutional investors, uses a multi-party computing (MPC) cryptosystem to ensure the security of assets, protecting digital assets to be transferred between any distributed blockchains.
