According to a court file obtained by The Block, Arthur Hayes, the co-founder and former CEO of cryptocurrency derivatives exchange BitMEX, is discussing surrender and court appearance with U.S. prosecutors.

Hayes currently lives in Singapore and may surrender to the US authorities on April 6. If necessary, he will go to the United States to appear in court and meet with lawyers.

As Bitpush previously reported, The U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ) filed a lawsuit against Hayes, two other co-founders Greg Dwyer and Ben Delo, as well as Head of Business Development Samuel Reed, for violating the Bank Secrecy Act last November, Reed has already been arrested.
