Suze Orman, a billionaire financial advisor who was named twice to the Time 100 list of influential people, said in an interview with Yahoo Finance: "I love Bitcoin. I like the universality of it. I like that it's just there and there are corporations that are investing in it."
Compared with gold, Orman believes that Bitcoin is a possible investment replacement for gold.
Orman also reminds investors of the shortcomings of Bitcoin as an alternative currency and the risk, she added: "Now what I tell my listeners, and what I would tell everybody, Bitcoin is seriously risky, I would not be investing in Bitcoin with money that I could not afford to lose."
