Reef Finance, a Polkadot-based DeFi project, has raised $20 million through token sales. Alameda Research, which was founded by Sam Bankman-Fried, is the single investor of the round of funding.

Reef is a cross-chain liquidity and yield farming aggregator that connects cryptocurrency traders on a single platform, supporting both centralization and decentralized transactions. 

The firm has previously raised $3.9 million in private token sales, backed by venture companies including NGC Ventures and QCP Capital. Denko Mancheski, CEO of Reef Finance, told The Block: "Alameda is our first bigger investor."
