Due to the Delta protocol issue, the 24-hour trading volume of the decentralized exchange Uniswap increased by 450% to 7.17 billion U.S. dollars, so Uniswap decided not to include the statistics accumulated by Delta into Uniswap's global trading volume. The anonymous developer "0xRevert" of the CORE team that established Delta hacked its system and allowed anyone to disrupt Uniswap's statistics.

The developer released a smart contract that allows anyone to use custom tokens to create $20 billion in transaction volume within 24 hours. 0xRevert then said he would open source the contract and the attack will continue until DELTA trading history is reinstated. In this regard, Uniswap founder Hayden Adams called 0xRevert’s threat “one of the dumbest things I’ve ever seen”.
