Heath Tarbert, former chairman of the US Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC), will join Citadel Securities as the chief legal officer on April 5, as first reported by Bloomberg.

Tarbert left the CFTC in March and said that Ethereum is a commodity rather than a security. 

Citadel Securities is one of the world's largest market makers. The previous GameStop long-short battle has brought regulatory pressure on its relationship with Robinhood.
