Thomas Hodge, the founder of Crypto & Policy, created the Change.org petition, urging Gary Gensler to end the lawsuit against Ripple.
The petition states that once Gary Gensler is confirmed to be the chairman of the SEC, he should carefully investigate the SEC's allegation against Ripple Labs and end the lawsuit, as the actions have unnecessarily caused losses to XRP holders.
The petition said:" We petition you to join together with U.S. crypto and blockchain developers and digital asset holders to develop a clear regulatory framework for everyone, which make sense and protect innovation while fighting fraud and criminality. We are all ready to work with you."
As of press time, the petition has received more than 1,000 signatures.
