After raising $200 million in funding one month ago, NYDIG, a Bitcoin investment company headquartered in New York, announced that it secured another $100 million in financing. 

The funding comes from strategic partners like Starr Insurance, Liberty Mutual Insurance, and other insurance companies. 

Besides, Mike Sapnar, President and CEO of TransRe, one of the world's largest reinsurance companies, will join NYDIG as the head of insurance solutions to help accelerate Bitcoin-driven innovation in the global real estate and casualty industries.
