Square's Cryptocurrency Open Patent Alliance (COPA) filed a lawsuit against Craig Wright in the British High Court, requesting the court to rule that Wright is not the author of the Bitcoin White Paper and does not own the copyright of the document.

"We stand in support of the Bitcoin developer community and the many others who've been threatened for hosting the White Paper," COPA stated.

Craig Wright, who claims to be the creator of Bitcoin, previously requested several websites to remove the Bitcoin White Paper on the grounds of infringement.
