The petition stated that Amazon currently does not accept cryptocurrency as a payment method, which lost many potential customers without traditional bank accounts. It describes Dogecoin as "fast, cheap and stable...has the lowest transaction fee of other major coins, has a huge supply of coins and has a very large, active community with on-going development."
