According to Coindesk, people familiar with the matter revealed that Galaxy Digital, a subsidiary of Michael Novogratz, is in negotiating to acquire cryptocurrency custodian BitGo. 

Galaxy Digital has no custodial business, so this acquisition is of great significance. 

One of the sources said that the details of the transaction are not yet clear, but a traditional financial company may participate in the acquisition together with Galaxy Digital.
