According to the official announcement, the enterprise blockchain company Digital Asset has raised $120 million in Series D funding. Investment companies 7Ridge and Eldridge support the round.

The fund will be used to expand team size by 50% this year and introduce new interoperability agreements. 

The open-source DAML smart contract language, Digital Asset's flagship product, can work on blockchains and centralized databases and synchronize data, attracting clients like the Australian Securities Exchange (ASX), BNP Paribas, and the Hong Kong Exchange. 

According to Crunchbase data, the D round brought Digital Asset's total funding to $142.2 million.
