The crypto exchange Bitstamp announced on Wednesday that it has hired Stephen Bearpark, the former Chief Financial Officer of Amazon, as the new CFO.

Bearpark has been serving as CFO at Amazon for the past three years, and once served as CFO at Barclays Bank. 

Bitstamp is one of the oldest exchanges in the crypto market, with business entities located in multiple countries. Last year, former Gemini executive Julian Sawyer became the company's new CEO.
