As Covid sweeps India, a relief fund established by Polygon co-founder Sandeep Nailwal has raised $2.2 million to alleviate the pandemic. 

The fund aims to provide more food, vaccines, and medicines to those in need. Ethereum co-founder Vitalik Buterin donated approximately $650,000 in cryptocurrency. Balaji Srinivasan, the former chief technology officer of Coinbase, donated $50,000. The famous Australian cricketer Brett Lee also pledged 1 Bitcoin to the fund.
