The SEC announced today that it will postpone the decision of the VanEck Bitcoin ETF until at least June, claiming that it needs to ensure "enough time" to review the proposal. 

The document stated: "The Commission designates June 17, 2021, as the date by which the Commission shall either approve or disapprove, or institute proceedings to determine whether to disapprove, the proposed rule change". 

VanEck filed an ETF proposal at the end of 2020, and the SEC is in the process of reviewing Kryptoin and WisdomTree's Bitcoin ETF.
