Reuters reported on Thursday that Thomas Moser, an alternate member of the Swiss National Bank's board of directors, said that the bank is planning to conduct its first-ever cross-border digital currency test.
In addition to the Swiss franc, Moser mentioned there will be another central bank and another currency participate in the test. The bank executive did not disclose the name of the central bank.
