Berkshire Hathaway’s annual shareholder meeting opened at 1:30 pm Eastern Time. Affected by the epidemic, this shareholders meeting was held online again. The company's chairman and CEO Warren Buffett and Vice Chairman Charlie Munger appeared together at the annual meeting. Buffett said: "I knew I would be asked about Bitcoin, and I want to avoid this question."

Munger said: “I hate the success of Bitcoin. I don’t like a currency that is so useful to kidnappers and extortionists. I don’t like to pay hundreds of millions or billions of dollars to someone who has just invented a new financial product out of thin air.  So I think I should humbly say that this damn development is disgusting and runs counter to the interests of civilization."
