Coinbase’s Transparency Report for the Second Half of 2020 pointed out that from July 1, 2020 to December 31, 2020, the number of requests for law enforcement information received from government agencies reached 2,313, of which about 90% of requests are from the U.S., U.K., and Germany. 51% of total requests during this period came from U.S. agencies. There was a 20% increase in requests from France. Throughout 2020, Coinbase received 4,227 information requests from law enforcement agencies.
