According to The Block, Bill Ackman, a billionaire investor and founder of hedge fund management company Pershing Square Capital Management, stated that he would not invest in Bitcoin because it is purely a speculative asset.
"I think crypto is here to stay. It's really interesting in terms of the business opportunities it helps create, although I wouldn't invest in Bitcoin or currency that's a pure speculative asset." Ackman said.
Earlier this month, Ackman claimed at the Wall Street Journal's Future of Everything Festival event that Bitcoin has no intrinsic value.
