Sheetz, the famous gas station and convenience store giant announced on Friday that it has cooperated with the crypto payment startup Flexa.

Under the partnership, customers can use Bitcoin, Ethereum, Litecoin, Dogecoin and other digital currencies to buy goods in the store, or fill up cars, trucks, and RVs at the pumps

Sheetz will use Flexa's instant, scalable, and environmentally friendly payment technology to accept digital currencies in some Sheetz Cafe stores later this summer, and plans to open support for gas stations later this year.

Sheetz was founded in 1952 and currently has 622 stores in Pennsylvania, North Carolina, Virginia, West Virginia, Ohio and Maryland, with annual revenues of $6.2 billion.

Sheetz became the first convenience store chain brand to accept Bitcoin and other tokens in-stores and at the pump.
