According to Reuters, Pascal Blanque, the chief investment officer of Amundi, Europe's largest asset management company, said on Thursday that cryptocurrencies such as Bitcoin are a "farce", as well as a symptom of the formation of a financial market bubble. 

"Bitcoin will be remembered for pushing central banks to adopt digital money," he said, and the government and regulators will eventually "stop the music"  for them.
