The San Jose Sharks, the NHL team in California, USA, announced that it will start accepting Dogecoin, Bitcoin, Ethereum, and other cryptocurrencies next season after cooperating with payment processor BitPay. 

President Jonathan Becher stated that it will be possible to use cryptocurrency for large-scale purchases, such as season pass memberships and sponsorship transactions, and the official app will also add crypto payment options. 

Early this year, Mark Cuban's Dallas Mavericks began accepting Dogecoin payments.
