China gradually intensified its crackdown on mining.

The Qinghai Provincial Department of Industry and Information Technology issued a notice on the comprehensive closure of virtual currency "mining" projects, requiring all regions to clean up and rectify related virtual currency "mining" behaviors.

The document said it is strictly forbidden to approve various virtual currency "mining" projects in various regions, and to shut down all existing virtual currency "mining" projects.

This action is followed by Inner Mongolia, Xinjiang province's ban on crypto mining.
